Services
The State Health Society, Bihar (SHSB), Patna is implementing National Health Mission (NHM) to carry out various health related program and strengthening the health delivery system including diagnostic services, in the state of Bihar.
Diagnostic services under NHM are being provided to the patients under Free Pathological Services & Free Radiological Services programmes from District Hospitals(DHs) upto PHCs (Primary Health Centre's). The diagnostic services provided to the patients are free of cost.
FREE PATHOLOGICAL SERVICES
Pathological Services are available from District Hospitals (DHs) upto Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) in-house mode free of cost to the patients. Pathological tests(blood samples/ stool samples/ urine samples/ rapid tests) are being done by the laboratory technicians (as prescribed by the doctors) deputed at the healthcare facility.
FREE RADIOLOGICAL SERVICES
The State Health Society, Bihar (SHSB), Patna is implementing Free Radiological Services under National Health Mission (NHM) including X-Ray services &Ultrasound services. Radiological services is being provided free of cost to the patients at the healthcare facilities.
X-Ray Services
X-ray services are being implemented in the state of Bihar, in a mix ofPublic-Private Partnership (PPP) and In-house mode. Digital X-ray services areprovided to the patients free of cost under Public-Private Partnership (PPP)mode in District Hospitals (DHs), Sub-Divisional Hospitals (SDHs) &Referral Hospitals (RHs)/ Community Health Centres (CHCs). 300 mA X-rayservices are provided to patients free of cost at Community Health Centres(CHCs) & Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs).
The State Health Society, Bihar (SHSB), Patna in association with M/s Brij HealthServices (India) Private Limited, Mumbai & M/s Anikra Foundation PrivateLimited, Delhi, are facilitating Digital X-Ray services under Public-PrivatePartnership (PPP) mode in District Hospitals (DHs), Sub-Divisional Hospitals(SDHs) & Referral Hospitals (RHs)/ Community Health Centres (CHCs). Theservices are available to the patients free of cost, in the state of Bihar atthe government healthcare facilities.

consultation from the doctors at the government healthcare facilities. X-ray is conducted by the X-ray technician deputed at the concerned healthcare facilities.
